Zion National Park exceeded every expectation we brought with us. Tucked between towering canyon walls with a river at your feet and wildlife around every bend, it feels less like a national park and more like a hidden world. With kids in tow, it was the highlight of our entire Utah trip.

We were passing through on our way to Springdale when we made an afternoon stop at Kolob Canyon. No major expectations, just a quick detour off I-15. What we found was a short but scenic drive with dramatic canyon walls, minimal crowds, and an easy experience for the whole family.
