One of the many scenic routes when traveling to Yellowstone from the East! The Cloud Peak Skyway Scenic Byway was a part of our route since we took the southern drive from Minnesota through South Dakota.
It’s time to make the drive to Yellowstone on the 2nd day of our All-American road trip, but before that we’re stopping at Devils Tower first after we enter Wyoming! Devils Tower is the very first U.S. national monument established by President Theodore Roosevelt back on September 24th, 1906!
After visiting Mount Rushmore, we went to the other side of the hills to visit the Crazy Horse Memorial. Even though it’s unfinished, the visitor center houses multiple museums that showcases Native American history and culture!
With the pandemic still going on and us needing a vacation to get outside, we decided to take a road trip to Yellowstone National Park! Dubbed as the All-American Road Trip, our first stop were Badlands National Park and Mount Rushmore!
