Adventure #7 for this year is the Bell Museum! Formerly known as the James Ford Bell Museum of Natural History, this museum provides insight into the natural history of Minnesota. From different exhibits to a planetarium, you’ll find plenty for the family to explore such as the mammoth exhibit!
Adventure #2 of 2022 was a trip to the SPAM Museum in Austin, Minnesota. We learned more about SPAM and walked away with SPAM swag. If you’re a fan (or not), give it a visit! Only a 2 hour drive from the Twin Cities metro area.
A summer road trip to the Black Hills region of South Dakota! Adventuring into the Badlands to Mount Rushmore and even crossing over to Wyoming for Devils Tower!
A day trip to Taylor Falls, Minnesota to explore the bluffs of Interstate State Park, fish the St. Croix River, and visit a deer farm in Wisconsin just across the river!
Finally got the chance to take my parents to go view the Fall colors up north around the North Shore area of Minnesota. Perfect weekend too as the colors seemed to be at it’s peak in the North Shore!
One of the animals that we wanted to spot in the wild were horses/mustangs. We weren’t able to spot any while driving through Wyoming to Cody, so we were hoping to view some at Theodore Roosevelt National Park on the way back home. We weren’t disappointed! You just have to search and be patient.
