Another stop we made as we continued making our way to Waimanalo was Makapu’u Lookout. Situated off the Kalaniana’ole Highway (Highway 72), you’ll find a fantastic view of Makapu’u Beach Park down below and the white sands of Waimanalo Beach stretching off into the distance. There is a paved parking lot but you can also park on the sides of the highway. There’s also a law enforcement officer that’s usually at that lookout area too.
