Trip Date: August 14th – 24th, 2019

The USS Missouri is located on Ford Island across the channel so we had to take a charter bus there from the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Visitor Center.  While there, instead of the guided tour, we opted to explore the USS Missouri by ourselves.  They had various types of rooms and areas of the ship opened for the visitors to explore.  They even have a plaque along with photos and a copy of the surrender papers in the exact same spot that the Japanese surrendered to the United States during World War II.
