Adventure Dates: 07/10/2025 – 07/13/2025
On our last day in San Diego, we squeezed in one more adventure before heading to the airport: a visit to the USS Midway Museum. Walking onto the massive aircraft carrier felt like stepping back in time, with each deck showcasing a different part of naval history. We explored the flight deck, admired the planes up close, and wandered through the different levels of the ship, each filled with fascinating exhibits.
While our daughter wasn’t as captivated by the museum itself, she did find plenty of excitement in the narrow corridors and passageways inside the ship. For families traveling with kids, this stop is a fun way to burn some energy while also experiencing a unique piece of history. Plus, with its convenient location just minutes from the airport, it’s a perfect option if you have a few hours to spare before your flight.
