Trip Date: October 27th – November 4th, 2017
After everyone arrived on Oct. 29th and having gone out that night to Golden Gai, we figured the best thing to get the next morning was some tonkotsu ramen at Ichiran Ramen!
Ichiran Ramen
The location we went to was the one located in Shinjuku, a few blocks east of Shinjuku Station. When we arrived there was already a line up and out to the sidewalk. The experience itself was interesting. When you get down to the entrance, you go up to a ticket machine where you put in your money that spits out your meal tickets. Then after being seated at a booth, you give these tickets to the person on the other side of the curtain. You don’t actually see the person on the other side of the curtain, so it’s just you, yourself, and the bowl of ramen.
Tokyo Motor Show 2017
After eating some ramen, we walked around for a bit before heading to Odaiba to catch the Tokyo Motor Show at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition hall. For what I saw at the Tokyo Motor Show, check out the images below in the gallery. Also located at the Tokyo Big Sight was an area where food trucks were lined up, and a vantage point that one could catch Mt. Fuji in the distance especially at sunset.
